STANLEY & STELLA

Sustainability
a core value since day one, deeply rooted in every part of their business. It drives the choices in raw materials, product design, and collection development. It shapes the workplace policies, recruitment, and partnerships with factories, decorators, and resellers.

The Stanley/Stella Charter, launched in 2022, reinforces our joined commitment to using business as a force for good. It outlines their goals on key environmental, social, and governance issues, guiding the entire Stanley/Stella ecosystem to continuously improve.

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT

For an adult size M tee shirt, carbon emissions range from 2.5 kg CO₂eq (Natural Raw), 2.59 kg CO₂eq (Eco-heather), and 3.1 kg CO₂eq (Whites & Colours) from cradle to gate, and increase to 5.04, 5.13, and 5.64 kg CO₂eq respectively from cradle to grave.

Water consumption follows the same pattern: from cradle to gate, usage is 0.98 m³ for Natural Raw, 1.17 m³ for Eco-heather, and 1.5 m³ for Whites & Colours, rising to 2.54 m³, 2.73 m³, and 3.06 m³ from cradle to grave. These figures inform our material choices and reflect our commitment to favouring options with the lowest carbon and water impact.

2: SOCIAL RESPONSABILITY

SOCIAL ENGAGEMENT

We aim to stay close to our roots by building and sustaining a real presence within our local ecosystem. Saint Ferréol participates in local events, collaborates with independent artists, and supports emerging talents who share our values.

Our commitment to Marseille is not symbolic. It translates into physical presence, creative partnerships, and long-term relationships within the city’s cultural scene. We believe that fashion should reflect its environment / its tensions, its energy, its communities.

From Marseille, now and forever.

STAYING SAINT

We do not stand for / participate in any organized religion, sect or cult.

Being "Saint" is a state of mind, a choice to stay true to your culture while wanting the best for everyone, regardless of ethnicity, beliefs and sexual orientation. We choose to be inspired by the religious art of times past, but our values stay focused on social justice and keeping political oppression in check.

While this may sound a big engagement for a streetwear brand, we still want to make that statement clear, to make everyone feel welcomed into our ranks.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

While we may occasionally rely on AI-assisted tools for translation, logistics, or workflow support, we do not condone or use generative AI to create garments, produce designs, or make meaningful artistic decisions. Technology can assist structure. It does not replace authorship.

Every visual direction, graphic composition, silhouette, and conceptual choice is developed by humans. Deliberately. With intention. With accountability.

We believe artistic work carries cultural weight. It reflects lived experience, references, contradictions, and personal histories. These cannot be automated without losing substance.

We draw inspiration from artists across time / from medieval engravers to art school dropouts / because creation is not about status, pedigree, or tools. It is about vision, commitment, and the courage to express something real.
